The Dragon King's Assassin

2022

My life changed the day I tried to take his. Mhavenna is a glorious city but, like every city on the face of Serai, it's run by Dragons. As a human, I'm on the lowest rung of the racial ladder here, as far from an illustrious Dragon as I could be, and I've made me peace with that. I don't like Dragons much, but like or dislike has nothing to do with my work. So when my broker offered me the task of killing the Dragon King, I took it. It was the sort of kill that could make an assassin's career, and I was certain that I had the skills for it. I was wrong, nearly dead wrong. The King caught me before I could finish the job, but instead of killing me, he made me his. I'm now the Dragon King's assassin. A warning and a weapon. A way for him to bypass his own laws without personally breaking them. But that's not all. He's tasked me with guarding him against future attacks. Who better to stop an assassin than another assassin? And who better to find the one who hired us? If only the King didn't have a body that made me salivate, a face that made my knees weak, and a pair of teal eyes that made me whimper. If only he didn't stare at me with those stunning eyes as if I could be more than property to him. Maybe then I could do my job, find the person who wants him dead, and save my own life. But I don't believe in miracles.

The Dragon Prince's Necromancer

2022

Death walks beside me. Two weeks ago, I was hired by the Dragon Prince of Zaru to help his brother, the King, deal with their dead. Not that there is an abundance of corpses in their kingdom, but those who die aren't staying in their graves. As a necromancer, I'm one of the few people on Serai who can put the dead to rest and discover why they are rising. As a Raltven, I'm particularly good at it. Good enough that the King of Zaru sent his brother across the sea to find someone like me. At first sight, desire sparked between Prince Racmar and me. On the way to Zaru, our attraction for each other had grown. Now it's reached the point of combustion, but I want more than a single night of pleasure from the Prince. To win him, I must play a dangerous game, tantalizing the man without riling the beast inside him. Between Racmar and the dead, I have some serious work to do, and both are presenting unforeseen complications. The reanimated corpses aren't talking, something both unusual and unfortunate for my investigation. Then there is Prince Racmar who speaks too much, and his words are clawing at my resistance. I don't know who will break first—the unknown power behind the dead, the Dragon Prince, or me. Death walks beside us Raltven, in our shadow form we are akin to spirits, but if I'm not careful, a spirit is exactly what I will become.

The Dragon God's Sacrifice

2023

Can I survive loving a god? For as long as I can remember, and even further back than that, the Dragons of Serai have worshiped a goddess and only her. But everything has changed. A god has risen. He has returned long-lost magic to my people and balanced the Fire within us. Those who could, made the journey to Ha'tezan, where the God's temple was unearthed. I am fortunate enough to be one of those Dragons. Shortly after my arrival, Karadas, the Dragon God of the Moon and Water, demanded a sacrifice—a man willing to give himself completely to our god and serve him in every way. Although the Sacrifice would be a servant to the God, he would hold a status even higher than that of a king. Dragons vied for the position, lining up every day at his temple to be considered. I did not go. I knew there was no chance of the God choosing me. And yet, that's exactly what happened. Karadas chose me. I'm honored and overjoyed to be chosen. I know that serving him will bring me undreamed of pleasure. It will free me from my family and give me a chance at a new life. But I'm not a fool. I also know that his interest will wane, and he will eventually choose another. He's my god, the most beautiful being I've ever seen and more powerful than anyone on Serai. I will surely fall in love with him. And he will, just as surely, destroy my heart. Pain is coming, a lot of it, but that's nothing new for me. I will glory in the pleasure and not think about the agony that will come when I cease to be the Dragon God's Sacrifice.

The Dragon King's Rock Star

2023

The Dragons of Serai Series continues in this epic clash of worlds! My life was perfect. Or so I thought. I'm Mason Byrne and I'm a rock star. I travel the world, have millions in my bank account, and take a new lover every night. What could be better than that? Then one night, I'm playing the Tokyo Dome and a light appears onstage. Not a spotlight but a ragged oval of glowing, sparking energy that appeared in midair and swallowed me whole. The next thing I knew, I was on another planet, a world called Serai where humans are in the minority and shapeshifting Dragons rule. Luckily, I found a group of great guys who took me under their wing. Or under their antlers, rather. They're taking me to the crown city of Avlar to speak to the Dragon King. The Dragon God just arrived on Serai, shortly before I did, and if anyone can get me home, it's a god. I just need to convince the Dragon King to take me to his god and then convince the god to take me home. But the longer I'm on Serai, the more I begin to wonder where home is.

The Sea Dragon King's Slave

2023

The Dragons of Serai Series continues in another gripping, sexy tale that crosses worlds. Get transported to Serai, a world populated by exciting fantasy races and ruled by Dragons searching for their eternal mates. My life wasn't going anywhere, but it was still my own. Until the day a light appeared on a Hawaiian beach and swallowed me whole. It spat me out into a deadly underwater world full of monsters and magic. But I was saved from the monsters by the greatest monster of all—a Sea Dragon. A monster who is also a man. A king, no less. And having saved my life, he claimed it as his. King Asmar of the Rosrae Sea says I'm his slave. He says it over and over despite my protests. He doesn't believe me when I tell him that I'm from another world. Nor will he accept the fact that I will not call him master or serve him in bed. But the King doesn't force me into his arms. He seduces. He ensnares. He enthralls. And the Sea Dragon King is the most amazing man I've ever met. Arrogant, yes, but how could he not be? King Asmar is one of the most powerful men in the seas of Serai, with a legend that has survived centuries of hibernation. Men and women willingly offer themselves as tribute to him, entering contracts of slavery just for the chance of catching his eye and becoming his bed slave. If I don't escape him soon, he will wear down my defenses, and I will become one of the many slaves who willingly serve him. But his city lies on the ocean floor, beneath thousands of feet of water, and no one within it would dare oppose the Sea Dragon King to help me. Unless I grow gills, my freedom is only a memory. The best I can do is hope that Asmar won't claim my heart as well. The Dragons of Serai is a Gay Fantasy Romance series with stand-alone books, each one a new epic romance. But they are best read in order for clarity of Serai events. Trigger Warning: This book contains some scenes that may disturb readers who are sensitive to abuse, including bondage, domination, sex with multiple partners, and some brief torture.

The Dragon King's Outcasts

2023

I've spent most of my very long life an outcast. Driven out of my home and dread by my mother, I wandered the seas of Serai until the Dragon God, the source of the Sea Dragons' magic, was trapped by the Dragon Goddess. Without a connection to Karadas, my kind were forced into hibernation. All but me. Because I'm different. I have more Fire in me than other Sea Dragons, enough to make me something else. I avoided hibernation, but without my Water magic, I couldn't survive in the sea. I left the water and didn't return for centuries, not until the Dragon God was freed and the Sea Dragons woke. And when I went back into the Rosrae Sea, I felt a great disturbance and knew I was no longer alone. Divine magic had brought a human to Serai and made him into someone like me. I had a dread at last. A brother. I went through a lot to reach Kaleb and help him escape the Dragon King who had enslaved him, but it was worth it. We made a new life for ourselves on land. A good life. But it didn't last. King Asmar of Rosrae tracked Kaleb to our home in Salrim and revealed that they were mates. They're going back to the sea without me. I understand. There is nothing more important to a Dragon than their mate, and the Sea Dragons have only just been given mating magic. I will miss Kaleb, but he is still my dread and I his. I'll be fine on land without him. Besides, I have my own Dragon King to deal with. King Varilas of Salrim's handsome face and perfect physique rivals even that of our god. He is strong, wise, and a good king. There is no reason for me to reject him. None but Dalcir. An outcast like me, Dalcir understands me. He may not be as handsome or as virile as Varilas, but his eyes hold mysteries that draw me to him and in his arms I find peace. Peace that the Dragon King of Salrim won't permit me to have. Varilas is intent on having me. Obsessed. He's certain that we are mates, destined for each other. It's true that I feel something for him in return, but if we are mates, why does my heart long for another man?

The Dragon King's Monster

2023

The Dragons of Serai Series continues in another magical kingdom where cities rise above the clouds and love is as wild as the Dragons who rule. As a Dragon King, I should have little to complain about, but my life has become a monotony. I feel shackled to the throne, trudging through every day hoping for something to change. And then it did. While hunting a monster, I came across Shye. Utterly misnamed, Shye is anything but. He's vivacious, bold, hungry for life, and never hides what he feels. He makes me laugh. I can't remember when I've laughed so much or when I last looked upon my kingdom with wonder. Shye gives me that; he gives me everything. For years I've been surrounded by sycophants. Flatters come with the crown. I was wary around Shye at first, but I quickly realized that he means everything he says, just as he says it. I want to trust him. Still, strange things are happening in the crown city of Zasbara, strange and violent things, and they all began when Shye arrived. Is my lover my long-awaited mate, the only man who will complete my life? Or is he my worst nightmare, a monster who will destroy everything I've worked so hard to build?

The Dragon King's Commander

2023

My heart's already been broken by one Dragon King; I won't let it happen with another. I'm Commander of the Castle Guard, responsible for the security of the Royal Castle and therefore, in part, the Dragon King of Levahan. The new one. I signed up to serve the last Dragon King, and lost my heart to him. Even now, after he left me for his mate, I still love Belyss. I don't agree with the way he was pushed off the throne or how readily he went. I understand why he did it, but I like the way his dread let it happen. And I certainly don't want to like his replacement. But I do. Too much. King Valos is nothing like the last king I served. Still, he shares one thing in common with Belyss—he's quickly becoming my obsession. I can't let that happen again, can't go through that kind of utter destruction a second time. So, I've tried to keep things professional between us. But when the owls suddenly leave Zasbara and I must work closely with the King to discover what threatens the city, that distance I fostered flies away. My heart is under threat as surely as my home and the fall of either would be disastrous.

The Dragon King's Gardener

2024

Don't call me a gardener. I went through a lot to earn my Masters degree in Vegetation. Simply getting accepted into the University of Sken was difficult as a human. There's a reason why kings hire me to help them with their plant issues. My current client is the Dragon King of Latur, who's been given the ominous title of Indifferent for surviving the death of his mate. He's a bit standoffish, sure, but I wouldn't call him indifferent. Not with the way he looks at me. And I can't help looking back. Staring. Aching. Dreaming. On top of being a king and difficult to get a laugh out of, Shaleros the Indifferent is also straight and a Dragon who's lost his mate. That means there's no hope for us. Not for anything lasting. But I'm all right with that. Some of the best relationships I've had didn't last long. I've decided that I'm going to have him. I'm going to make him smile, laugh, and roar in ecstasy. I'm going to bring the Dragon King back to life, just as I'm doing for his garden. By the time I'm done with him, they'll have to change his name to Shaleros the Blissful. And then I can walk away happy, knowing I've helped him and eased this unrelenting desire in me. I hope.
