I couldn’t help but to think of what more my father could do with his work if he only saw the possibilities that I did. The world as we knew it was crumbling. I watched the news daily only to see yet another mass shooting or attack being described, furious at the lack of action taken to secure our world in the aftermath. We had the ability to do something good for the world. To change it. I just needed him to see that. We could rewire our society. Author's note: This is McVeigh's story.
