When Haley and Bobbie’s magic-hating mother realized that her daughters had inherited the magic of their ancestor, the Good Witch of Christmas, La Befana, she abandoned them at a small cottage on an island off the coast of Greenland, otherwise known as the portal to the North Pole where the girls’ grandfather lives. Despite growing up in a holiday paradise, the sisters decided to leave the realm of magic holiday folk behind and head to a small town in Maryland in search of a ‘normal’ life. However, once tragedy strikes, leaving Bobbie widowed and Haley disabled, Haley can no longer find it in herself to get into the holiday spirit. Then she meets Oliver, a charming firefighter out on a candy cane delivery, and she is immediately enchanted. Oliver is determined to help this humbug find some holiday cheer, but Haley doesn’t know how to trust in love, especially when she’s spent her time in the mortal world keeping her true self a secret. It might take a Christmas miracle for this witch to fan the flames of true love.
