Drawing on the Los Alamos National Laboratory Archives and other primary sources, this book details the scientific contributions of Robert Bacher, one of the physicists who developed the atomic bomb at Los Alamos. In addition to his scientific work, Bacher held administrative positions with the Los Alamos Laboratory, the Atomic Energy Commission, and the president's Scientific Advisory Committee.
