When the Forth Road Bridge started to be built in 1958, Hector Woodhouse was a young Civil Engineering student at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. By luck, his work experience was working on the bridge as a chain boy, and after graduation he continued to work on the bridge. This book is a collection of his stories and photos from his remarkable experience building the Forth Road Bridge. All royalties from this book are being donated to the Prostate Cancer UK charity.
