It was just another day for Charlie Strong when a Foxling named Dreamer arrives at his house, telling him she has been sent to help him overcome his fear. Through the course of the story, Dreamer helps Charlie by crafting three tests for him, opportunitites to let him grow. This is the first story in the seven-part children's fantasy series, "The Foxling." It is divided into three novellas, "The Three Steppingstones," and four full length novels. This is the first of "The Three Steppingstones." "The Three Steppingstones," are charming, innocent tales that hint at the hidden grandeur of the Foxling world. They are introductory stories that lead up to the main, epic and slightly darker novels. Dreamer the Foxling is the main character of the series. In the Steppingstones, readers follow her as she goes on missions, helping children solve their problems and make their dreams come true. In the main novels, readers watch Dreamer and many other Foxlings protect children from the horrific monsters that lurk from another world. A place ruled by a force that seeks to destroy children.
