The love a mother has for her child(ren) is like no other. Unfortunately, not every child ever gets the chance to feel or experience such love. Inspired by the love for her first child, Lakeatta Tonge has created a book to speak to the child in all of us to forever have "The Heart of a Mother" shared within the words of this book. With hopes to heal the heart of children who may feel abandoned by the one person who was supposed to love them for the rest of their life. Combined with words, the calming illustrations aim to speak directly to the reader's heart.
