He had come a long way and he was nearing the end of his journey. He had a good Mustang horse beneath him. He led a pack horse behind him that was also a Mustang. His skin was dark from the hot Texas sun. He had a dark black mustache and his black hair curled behind his hat. On his head he wore a dark wide brim hat and was dressed in buckskins. A tall lean man and taller than most being almost 6 feet 4 inches tall; his name is T. Jennings but people that knew him called him Tall because the Mexicans and Indians gave him the name Tall Tree and he was known as a hunter of men. He was in the town of Fort Worth when a telegraph message reached him offering him two hundred dollars to come to the Borger Ranch for a possible job. He knew what they wanted. The Borger Ranch was in the Texas Panhandle near the Llano Estacado and that meant Comanche. He had no idea this journey would change his life forever.
