She'll fight for justice... Orphan Josie Miller was saved from a life of crime when a stranger rescued her off the street. Josie owes everything she has to Dr. Annie—from her hard-won law degree to her impressive knowledge of medicine. So when a wounded man is brought to Josie's house clinging to life, she is determined to save him. With eyes as black as sin and a body riddled with bullets, Sims Callahan is clearly a dangerous man. But even after Josie learns that her patient is running from the law, she can't control the fire that the rugged loner ignites inside her—a longing that could destroy her vow to never, ever bind herself to a man. Even for an outlaw Some call Sims an outlaw and a thief—and few believe that he's just an honest man trying to clear his name. While recovering from his wounds, Sims knows the law is waiting to take him in. Only Josie believes in him—and every night they spend together in Wyoming's Big Sky country, the temptation to take the tender innocence she offers intensifies. When Sims flees again, the prim and proper lady lawyer finds herself a willing hostage who'll stop at nothing to save him...even if it means marrying him to do it.
