It's 2022, and Queensland is now part of China. The rest of Australia has become Nation One, a Chinese colony, but trouble is brewing at the border. Lachlan Philpott's play follows the new graduates of a Nation One school as they prepare to enter service to the Nation. Written in association with a NSW public schools state drama company in 2017, this play looks at our country's steps towards fascism in our refugee policies, and the Defence Minister's fear of China, and pandering to the USA.
