A seemingly ordinary Chicago street harbors a sinister secret—an abandoned house where a young boy, Paul, mysteriously vanished. His sister, Jessie, was the last person to see him alive and has been haunted by the incident ever since. The house is feared by the neighborhood children and is rumored to be malevolent. The disappearance shattered Jessie's family, and years later, as a mother herself, she still lives in the shadow of the house, convinced that a dark, menacing force emanates from it.
