The first in the set of the four "Purse Snatcher Letters" These are replica publications of the actual letters—printed on the same pulp paper, in reproduction typewriter font, and packaged in reproduction, type-addressed envelopes (they are sent inside of secondary packaging, the original letter were unstamped and unsealed when found). These letters were found abandoned in a hotel where a hotel clerk noticed that one of the guests did not check out one morning. The hotel worker, after waiting awhile, decides to check in on the guest. However, he didnt find the guest... instead he found a bunch of letters addressed to a "Bernard Cambridge". After a number of days of waiting for the guest, the hotel worker decides to safeguard the letters. Only after a failed attempt to mail the letters, he decides to open one. What he read inside suprized him more then the disapearence of the writer. This first letter is 6 standard size pages (3 pages front and back) totaling approximately 4000 words.
