Earth isn’t how you imagined it would be. My parents' grandparents tried to warn us, but we didn’t listen. We’ve destroyed ourselves to the point of extinction. Sixty years, give or take, is what the human race has left before the population drops below what we scientists call the critical level. I’m convinced the solution is found in nature. Something we had is now missing, and since we’ve killed seventy percent of this planet, I’m not sure I’ll find what we need to survive. I don’t believe in miracles. The world lost spiritually around WWIII. It’s going to take nothing short of magic to save us, but I’m not giving up hope. It is all we have left. During a drunken night off, I stumble upon a being that will be our salvation or my doom. Maybe both the whiskey is making it a toss-up. When you learn that all the legends, myths, folklore, and fairytales are true but have been warped through time, you come to a simple realization…We never knew anything at all. Everything was a lie, and nothing will be the same again. Avalon has returned. All hail the King.

I'm a retired 43-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter. I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me. Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime. After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.
