Part of Series

The Living Shadow doesn't leave survivors, especially in matters of the heart. Liana, a Fuegorra priestess in training has been waiting for the assassin called The Living Shadow to be captured for nearly twenty years. The night he arrives in her city, she is ready to risk it all and make a dangerous pact with this shadow-wielding elf to find her missing parents. The Living Shadow has always been a force of silence and death, an assassin who leaves no trace—let alone witnesses. His name is a whispered curse in the darkest corners of the world. But when the fiery priestess Liana seeks him out, not to beg for mercy but to bargain, something stirs in him. Her desperation intrigues him, and her determination to find her missing parents even more so. The shadow that bends to his will begins to flicker with uncertainty, for in Liana's eyes, he sees a light that may prove far more dangerous than any blade he's ever wielded. The Stones of Fate is a standalone novella. It is connected to the Entangled with the Enduar world but can be read by any audience. This adult fantasy romance is perfect for readers of Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Danielle L. Jensen. Note: This story is an adult/new adult novel with mentions of trauma, violence, and illicit meetings between consenting adults, as well as other mature themes.

Daniela A. Mera was born into a royal Fae family in Scotland. She was a free spirit who loved traveling and cloud watching while laying velvet-soft grass. When she came of age, her mother forced her to travel to Las Vegas in order to kill a dragon and conquer a neighboring kingdom. The dragon turned out to be a man, whom she fell wildly in love with. The couple ran away to the gentle hills of Mexico where Daniela ate lots of tacos and fruits the size of her head. Something along those lines, anyway. She writes whimsical tales full of lore all around the world, full of emotionally available men and women who run the world. She can be found listening to sappy romance ballads while writing scenes meant to emotionally damage her readers. When not writing, Daniela can be found doing yoga and playing video games.
