One of Hans Christian Andersen's earliest works, this literary folktale was only recently discovered. A short work, addressed to one of his benefactors, it was unknown a copy was accidentally uncovered by amateur researchers at the Danish National Archives. The cover art is a photograph of Hans Christian Andersen; as it was not published, no cover art was originally associated with it.
