But I couldn’t stand seeing him so wound up and knowing it was my fault. If I couldn’t do much to help him with the FBI or Harper, at least I could help him relax. As soon as he was seated, I stood and faced him, my hands going straight to his tie. He looked up at me, eyes tense, the dark brown lighting with heat as his mind shifted gears and he realized what I was up to.
