The Omega Covid variant hits the world, and it's different. It kills the unvaccinated but the dead don't stay dead. When the dead rise they have one aim and that is to kill the uninfected to spread the plague. But there is something ominous behind the variant, it has been designed, it has a purpose. Carl, a self declared middle aged loser, finds himself having to learn the art of survival in a real life zombie apocalypse, where the dead are just part of the problem.
