A Dark Sorcerer secretly plots the assassination of his strongest rival – A lovely and powerful witch. Her death rouses the usually hidden covens to search out the killer. At the same time, this sorcerer is gathering magical artifacts which will augment his own magic and allow him to take over the world. The reclusive witches are forced to not only work together, but to solicit the help of kings, dwarves and common soldiers in their fight against the power-hungry sorcerer. As the motley crew of uneasy allies fight together, they realize they are sure to lose the battle, when a strange new player with unknown powers enters the mix.
