They, Singular is a collection of poetry, prose, and artwork all created by M. Oliveros, who is a proud genderqueer Filipinx-American. This book delves into the intimate journey of discovering queerness and the evolution of self-love, all while navigating internalized and external struggles. They, Singular is divided into two parts: the first part questions and confronts queerphobia, gender identity, sexuality, race, mental health, and religion, while the second part rebuilds, redefines, and reconciles queerness, religion, spirituality, and race.
