Dutch sovereignist politician, historian and jurist. Baudet was the founder of the Forum for Democracy party that was elected into the Dutch parliament in 2017 Thierry Baudet (1983) studied law and history and the University of Amsterdam. Thierry Baudet has published multiple books and novels and has also been active as a columnist for the Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad. In 2015 Baudet established the Forum for Democracy (FvD) as a thinktank, the thinkthank was transformed into a political party with Thierry Baudet as its leader in 2016. In 2017 the party was elected to office and won two seats in the Dutch parliament. In the national elections of March 17, 2021 Thierry and his party FVD won with 8 seats, which made him the highest climber in terms of percentage of all political parties in the Netherlands.
