Josh, on the other hand, is a forgettable, cute nerd with a talent for card games and comics instead of pigskin. And while Colton is the unofficial ladies man of the school, Josh is bisexual; a secret he has only confessed to Colton. Colton doesn't mind, but as time goes on, the jock can't help but notice his friend in a different light. Especially when he goes through a particularly bad break-up and his bisexual friend is the one to console him. Looking for an easy distraction, Josh and Colton suddenly are left with more questions than answers about their friendship. Colton knows he's straight, but on that hot afternoon, desperate and longing for something to fill the void, he knows he might - just this once - let his guard down.
