Thomas Rooz Bazar is a novelist and playwright. Two of his plays were staged with the performance collective, A Band of Actors and his novel An Expectation of Plenty was hailed by Kirkus as "An evocative character study that is rich in atmosphere..." He has also recently completed The Any Dead, a surrealist novel about the great Persian writer, Sedagh Hedayat and a verse novel, Failure Beautiful.
