Amanda Ashton is forced to take a semester off from college after she injures her leg in a rock-climbing accident, and she decides to stay at her father's house by the lake while she recovers. The house is in a neighborhood of summer vacation homes, and Amanda discovers that most of the houses are empty in the spring. A thrill addict, Amanda quickly realizes the whole empty neighborhood can be her personal playground and exhibitionism can provide the adrenalin rush she is craving.
