In his work as a journalist, Tim Hall has written for the Guardian, the Daily Telegraph and various magazines. His debut novel, Shadow of the Wolf, is a fantastical re-imagining of the Robin Hood legends. His second novel, Earth Swarm, is a sci-fi thriller. He is currently working on a sequel to Shadow of the Wolf, called Winter's Teeth. He lives in Gloucestershire, England, with his wife and their two daughters.
