I started this autobiography after reading and enjoying Bill O'Reilly's Bold Fresh autobiography. I can't remember when I actually started this, but it's been a work-in-process for a good part of my life. I believe you'll find many interesting experiences and hardships dating back to World War II, that most people today, never heard about. There were food, gas and tire rationing. Individuals and school children bought US War Savings bonds to help support the war effort. Nightly blackouts occurred where Air Raid Wardens patrolled the streets making sure no light could be seen from around your window blinds by planes in the sky. Also, if a family was on welfare back then, the oldest child of working age was expected to get a job to support them and get them off welfare. Where Bill considered himself as Bold, I considered myself as Timid.
