I was a high school English and History teacher for 14 years before retraining as a school counsellor (I've been doing that now for about 14 years too). I'm married and live on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. Other occupants of the house include two cats and a cheeky house rabbit. I'm interested in psychology (I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in my work with young people - you can learn more about that on our website below), history and speculative fiction. Undead Kelly allowed me to combine all three interests into one handy novel! I am also interested in ancient history (hence Freaks and Greeks) and superheroes (the subject of my next novel).
