Timothy Schmand fled upstate New York’s oppressive winters and settled in South Florida in 1982. He has spent the ensuing decades immersed in the human experiment known as “Miami.” Schmand’s award winning fiction has appeared in literary journals, popular magazines and anthologies, regionally and internationally. Schmand’s novel Just Johnson: The London Delivery was published in 2016 by Jitney Books, a micro-publisher celebrating the best of Miami’s literary talent. He holds an MFA from Vermont College.
