Author also writes under Tracey Mayhew TJ’s love of fantasy and writing began when she discovered myths and legends at an early age. At school, she was enthralled by the tales of gods and heroes of different cultures and grew up wanting to be Xena: Warrior Princess. In her teen years, she discovered Christopher Paolini’s Inheritance Cycle, which only fuelled her desire to write and create new worlds more interesting than her own. But life soon took over and TJ trained for a ‘proper job’ as a teacher. She has been teaching for ten years now but has never turned her back on writing. She had been collaborating with her best friend for over ten years when she finally had the idea for the Prophecies of Fate series during a trip to Stonehenge three years ago. As well as the Prophecies of Fate series, TJ also has plans for other series in the pipeline. TJ lives in the south-east of England and, when she isn’t writing, can be found spending time with friends and family, reading, visiting sites of historical interest, hiking in the British countryside and watching any number of TV shows and movies.
