TK Cornman found her creative side when her sixth grade teacher gave the assignment of writing a short story for a writing contest. Her short story about a beautiful woman who turns out to be an ugly witch won a third prize for creativity. She would go on to write poetry and other stories but never let others read them. Her voracious appetite for reading took her traveling to great worlds while her family traveled the United States on vacations. This appetite for reading would be fed during her fourteen year career working in an entertainment store that sold books. After eight years of working for herself, she now finds that appetite fed once again as she works in a busy library filled with books.
