Following Star Trek's 20th anniversary, a new series was making its way to the TV screens: Star Trek: The Next Generation. Without knowing if the series would manage to find its audience and bring back the Star Trek magic, DC comics decided to give the new crew a comic book debut in the form of a six-issue miniseries. Star Trek: Beginnings features a unique depiction of the now well-known Enterprise-D crew. With the focus on supporting characters and their stories, DC's comic series introduces countless new details to provide a new understanding of The Next Generation.
