Tonya Sharp Hyche was born and raised in Alabama. After graduating at the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, Tonya moved to Texas and taught High School History for 18 years. Now retired, Tonya is working on writing novels once again full time and has a new release, In Plain Sight Nov. 2023. Tonya is married to her high school sweetheart Steve, and together they enjoy traveling the US and the world promoting her novels. Steve and Tonya have two sons and four grandkids and spend time in Alabama and in Texas when not traveling.
