Her fascination with books started with stories of magic and dragons early on in Tori's life. Now as an English student at BYU, Tori finds beauty and empathy in stories everyday that encourage her to write her own books. Healing Blood is Tori's first novel, not counting the numerous illustrated books from her elementary school days. Being from Seattle, her perfect day is defined by lots of rain, hot chocolate, and reading by the fire. After living in French Polynesia for a year and a half, Tori speaks French and Tahitian fluently. She also developed a strong love for taro ice cream and the Tahitian people.
