DI Giles goes maverick, to solve a whole-family homicide case which her superiors think is open-and-shut. The dad did it and then killed himself. Something in the DI's gut tells her they're wrong. The murder scene feels a little too contrived and she suspects a link with other whole-family homicides and a serial rape case. She begins a desperate race to prove it and to save the family she knows will be next.
