I'm quiet. I like being by myself. I'm used to solitude, and there's nothing wrong with that. Just before I turn 19, tragedy happens, and I end up living with my dad and uncle. When my uncle goes in for a reassuring hug and I flinch, it quickly becomes obvious how touch starved I am. Dad and Uncle Evan start to spend more time with me. Dad and I regularly curl up at night and watch TV, while Uncle Evan is always there with a hug or a reassuring touch. I'm no longer touch starved, but I soon realize I want more from both my dad and my uncle. But that can't happen, right?
