Trisha Madison is a Jersey girl who’s been managing the family-owned restaurant at the shore for years for less than minimum wage with promises of “keeping it all in the family.” Out of the blue, her parents sell outright to her brother. Rather than destroying every family bond she has in her rage, she leaves town to go on a well-deserved vacation. She has absolutely no intention of living in another tourist town. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Autumn Summers has found a home in Summit Springs, taking on her beloved aunt’s old home and turning it into a bed-and-breakfast. Everything is just perfect except for the pesky clientele. All she wants is to share the peaceful haven that she’s created, but her guests refuse to cooperate. The last straw is the infuriating woman in the Larkspur Suite who insists her meticulously planned Valentine’s weekend event is a disaster waiting to happen.

Kim lives in the mythical and contentious territory known as Central Jersey. Originally from South Jersey, she is still unsure if Central Jersey is a real place or a Fae construct. Her movement from the lower to middle band of the state was interrupted by time spent living in Ireland, Boston, Uzbekistan, Maryland, Trinidad, and Florida. So far, she has only been asked to leave one country. A happily ever after is a necessity. Kim loves to give her characters a fun adventure to get them there and a plethora of family and friends to help them along the way.
