She wasn’t supposed to fall for the target… Natasha Celland isn’t a fan of the dragons. They came around at a bad time, and she’s tired of their special treatment. She’s not going to be able to ignore them for much longer though, as a high-ranking witch has assigned her the mission of getting to know one of them, to discover their secrets. That means spending a whole lot of time with a hot, yet completely mysterious dragon shifter while showing him around Winterspell Academy. Not her idea of a good time at all. Storm dragon Rane is thrilled. He’s been assigned a liaison from the ranks of the witches, someone who’ll show him around, helping to educate him on the inner workings of the dragons’ new home. Now he’s got it, and to his delight, he finds himself enjoying the gorgeous witch’s presence. Natasha thought she could handle the mission, but as she spends more time with the hunky Rane, she begins to doubt everything she’s been taught about the dragons. Riley is one of those early-morning people you love to hate, because she swears she doesn't need caffeine, even though the coffee-maker is connected to her smartphone. She lives in a three-story townhouse by the good graces of a tabby-cat who rules the house, the couch, the table, well, basically everywhere. When she's not groveling for forgiveness for neglecting to pet her kitty enough, Riley is strapped in to her writing chair coming up with crazy worlds where she can make her own decisions of when feeding time is and how much coffee can be drank without her friends—of which she has three—holding yet another intervention that they threaten to post on the internet.
