Travels with Pinky the invisible dragon is a story about a little girl who is lost in the forest and sets out to find a wizard to help her stop men cutting down trees and destroying the homes of the animals that live there. The magical wizard sends she and Pinky on a journey of discovery where she travels to far away places to learn about the beauty of different cultures and the plight of animals such as pandas, elephants and albatrosses. Will she return home to stop the men destroying the forest and finally learn her name? The book combines adventure as well as facts about the forest and the way people live, dress and eat in different parts of the world. It is my belief that travel is one of the best educational tools and it makes us more tolerant of the differences that exist between people. I hope that I have succeeded in this quest.
