
Tricia L. McDonald is no stranger to writing. As a writing coach, Tricia works one-on-one with writers to hone their writing skills, edits manuscripts, facilitates writing groups, and helps writers prepare their manuscripts for publication. She is an internationally published author, a public speaker and writing coach who lives and writes in West Michigan. On a volunteer basis, Tricia teaches writing classes to senior citizens at Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging in her hometown in West Michigan. Tricia's latest book (2020) is a middle-grade fiction book title The Sally Squad: Pals to the Rescue. Her Life With Sally series: Little White Dog Tails, Still Spinnin' Tails, Waggin’ More Tails, and Princess Tails are compilations of stories chronicling life with her miniature bull terrier. Tricia's book Quit Whining Start Writing: A Novelist's Guide to Writing (Mar 2012), is a guide to help writers put away the excuses and get the writing done. Tricia has also been published in Cup of Comfort for Mothers & Sons Anthology, The Breastfeeding Diaries Anthology, Mom Writer's Literary Magazine, Cup of Comfort for Mothers, I Love Cats Magazine and Oxygen Magazine. She writes a bi-monthly column for Senior Perspectives and is the recipient of the 2019 NAMPA Award for First Place in Column Review.
