Trish Howell lives in the Pacific Northwest. She has always loved to read and began writing at a young age. She wanted to become a writer, but instead went to work for a bank. After terrifying the people who reported to her over a number of years, she changed careers and moved into software development. Sadly, she chose to become a COBOL programmer for a large insurance company, so did not make her fortune working for the large tech companies in the area. When she began writing again, she was as surprised as her friends and family. To jump start the process, she earned a certificate in Literary Fiction Writing from the University of Washington. She always wanted to write a book about World War II, so perhaps not surprisingly, her first novel is the tale of a medieval queen in an imaginary country. She enjoys many hobbies, including genealogy, quilting and watercolor.
