Biologist. Postdoctoral researcher, University of Helsinki. Currently rat parasites in Helsinki Urban Rat Project and on pathogens and microbiota in Swiss ticks with Barbara Tschirren. I did my PhD on the intestinal parasites of mouse lemurs: field work in Madagascar, laboratory work with 18S and 454 sequencing and statistics&bioinformatics. I also did a small side project on interactions between parasites and gut microbiota. I'm also interested in didactics of biology - understanding of genetics and using mobile gaming for biology teaching.
