The book follows the adventures of Tuxedo, a black and white Huskita (a mix of a Husky and Akita), who discovers that he belongs to the ancient clan of the Chigakwa—a band of animals who possess extraordinary powers initiated by an exceptional woman of an early Native American Tribe.
