Only One of Us Can Survive. Wren knows only one thing: she is being hunted by the most powerful woman in Aria and she won’t stop until she is dead. Born a defective clone and cast out of society, Wren is a liability to have around because of her mirror image of the famous face. Reece is the soldier who let her escape. A dedicated member of the Resistance hiding in plain sight with the city’s trooper division, he is determined to change things from the inside. Being a spy is deadly, especially when every move he makes is being watched. When their paths cross everything changes. Wren must decide whether she can trust the soldier in order to find safety. When her best friend is taken by a guard, she has no choice except to beg Reece to help her find him. In a fight for justice, the truth, and the lives of all Defectives, Wren and Reece are the unlikely duo who must risk everything they’ve ever known for the cause. Jamie was born into a big, crazy family of 6 children. Being the youngest, she always got away with anything and would never shut up. Constantly letting her imagination run wild, her teachers were often frustrated when her ‘What I did on the weekend’ stories contained bunyips and princesses. Growing up, Jamie did the sensible things and obtained a Bachelor of Business degree from Southern Cross University and worked hard to gain her membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Yet nothing compared to writing. Quitting the rat race to spend quality time with her laptop named Lily, Jamie has written several novels and screenplays. Spanning a number of genres and mediums, Jamie writes whatever inspires her from ghost stories to teenage love stories to tantalising murder mysteries. Nothing is off limits. A self-confessed television addict, dog lover, Taylor Swift fan, and ghost hunter, Jamie loves nothing more than the thrill of sharing her stories.
