I'm a full-time author, anthologist, and translator (Spanish->English) living in Madrid, Spain. My picture book ¿LEES UN LIBRO CONMIGO? was selected by the International Board of Books for Young People for Outstanding Books for Young People with Disabilities 2007 and my picture book NO HAY NADA COMO EL ORIGINAL was selected by the International Youth Library in Munich for the White Ravens 2005. My poem "How to Make a Human" won the Rhysling Award for Best Science Fiction Poem. I am also the publisher of A Midsummer Night's Press, a small poetry publisher, which has published THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED IN OUR OTHER LIFE by Achy Obejas, THE GOOD-NEIGHBOR POLICY: A DOUBLE CROSS IN DOUBLE DACTLYS by Charles Ardai, BANALITIES by Brane Mozetic, translated by Elizabeti Zargi, and FORTUNE'S LOVER: A BOOK OF TAROT POEMS by Rachel Pollack, as well as the annual series BEST GAY POETRY and BEST LESBIAN POETRY.

About the Author Wade Wright is an older gay gentleman, (using his wording here now) that lives in Arizona, alone, except for his puppy of about 15 years, and is semi-retired. One "normal" marriage, and two sadly shortened gay partnerships, have given Wade a perspective of living very different types of lives, and wishing some of his stories were from "true life adventures!" Wade Wright is also the author of Apartment 117, Yes, Cops Do It, - Oh Yeah, and also The Two Straight Guys.

I have been a voracious reader all my life, mostly in mystery, romance, and science fiction/fantasy, though a college degree in English did push a lot of literary works into my list of favorites. I began writing seriously in high school after an inspiring assignment with A Separate Peace by John Knowles. But it took getting an MFA in creative writing to kick-start my career. Since then I've written dozens of books, won a couple of treasured awards, and enjoyed the support of readers. I write gay male erotic fiction, with a focus on BDSM relationships. I have published two short story collections, Winner Takes All: Master/slave Fantasies by Christopher Pierce and Kidnapped by a Sex Maniac: The Erotic Fiction of Christopher Pierce; the first two novels in my Rogue Sequence, Rogue: Slave and Rogue: Hunted; and have edited seven anthologies of gay male erotic fiction, including Biker Boys and I Like to Watch for Cleis Press.
