Agent Emmalyn Lee, a witch, will be working with me. My tiger swears she’s our mate, I’m not so sure. She seems annoyed by everything I say, and she barely even looks at me.This case seems personal for her, and she is being reckless, like she is trying to draw attention to us. I make a vow to keep Emmalyn safe, but it gets harder by the day when she keeps throwing herself into danger. We are out of cell phone range, up on this mountain with a bunch of humans, and oh yeah, the vampires. Even if I could prove to Emmalyn that we’re mates, I’m not sure we’ll make it back to civilization alive.
