They are both so destructive to the other's lives- but it is a train wreck I happily jumped on. Chaney has finally brought some semblance of balance into her life. She still can't say no to him, knowing what will happen to her if/when he leaves. There are so many twisted parts in this book and I am not sure who's side I'm on. It does have an open ending- to continue into book 2. Plenty of page melting scenes.
