As you may have guessed, VM Gautier is a pseudonym. I better not say too much lest I be accused of lying. Fiction writers must always tell the truth. Believe me the "real" me isn't very important. You probably haven't heard of me. And I'll let you in on the secret soon enough. Meantime, you can go take a look the blurb for my novel, Blood Diva, available as in ebook and in paperback. Blood Diva is one of those hard to categorize books that with luck might appeal to a large audience. It's kind of like Anne Rice (vampires) meets Jean Rhys (kept women, and literary deconstruction) meets Patricia Highsmith (psychopathology, remorseless killers, etc.) and they all share an apartment in Williamsburg with Lena Dunham. There's also opera because how the hell would you write a book featuring vampire-Marie Duplessis and not reference La Traviata? And why would you want to? Blood Diva is sexy, smart, and fun, but also like its heroine dark and mysterious.
