I've always loved reading, both as a source of learning, and as inspiration—a way of exercising the imagination muscle. I am married to an entomologist (the inspiration for my first book: Bugs in My Freezer—no, I'm not making this up). I have two grown children—one is a physical therapist, the other is a pastor and author. I have five adorable grandsons and a tiny ball of (canine) fluff named Zoe.
