Vina was born and raised in San Jose, California. She is multi-racial and lived a hard life. Because of the abuse she endured during her childhood, she turned to books. It was one book that changed her life, "Matilda". The moement she read that book, she knew she could overcome anything that came her way. In school she worked hard. English was her favorite subject, so it wasn't hard to win numerous writing contests in school. One of which was in the local paper. She felt like a star! Reporters came and took her picture and asked her questions. From there, all she wanted was to write more; she was hooked. Vina attended ASU for majors in Anthropology, history, English and even earned a leadership certifcate for a Leadership program she was invited into. She was also nominated and invited to join the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Leadership Society of America and was asked by her professors to start a writing program for aspiring authors. So, she did and it took off. Vina has had her work published both online and in print magazines. She has written everything from what wines are the best to go with certain foods to interviews with celebrities on various topics. As a wife and mother of 3 creative and inspiring kids, she spends her time writing about her inner hero, Mira. She also enjoys playing World of Warcraft, Grand Tourismo, crocheting, crafting, and reading. Vina reads a lot of books and has a giant library full of books. You can find Vina on social media acting like her goofy self, helping other aspiring authors reach their goals, and doing lots of gift-aways!
