Voces -30, nueva narrativa latinoamericana es una antología de cuentos que reúne a algunos de los autores que están escribiendo y publicando hoy, desde México hasta la Patagonia. Son menores de 30 años, han ganado premios y tienen más de una publicación. Sus estilos e imaginarios sorprenden por tener un espíritu fresco e íntimo. Aquí se cruzan el campo y la ciudad, la familia y la juventud, los fantasmas del pasado y el futuro. A su vez, cada una de estas “voces” cuenta con un proyecto literario que creemos, tendrá una proyección en el tiempo y que dará qué hablar durante los próximos años, empezando por hoy. Jennifer Thorndike was born in Lima, Peru in 1983. She is a writer and scholar. She received his Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She has published the novels (Ella) (2012), Esa muerte existe (2016) and the short story books Cromosoma Z (2007) and Antifaces (2015). He has participated in several anthologies both Peruvian and Latin American. Her stories have been translated into Portuguese, French and English. In 2016 was chosen by FIL-Guadalajara as one of the most outstanding Latin American writers born during the 80s. She currently lives and teaches literature in Illinois. Jennifer Thorndike nació en Lima, Perú en 1983. Es escritora y académica. Se doctoró en Estudios Hispánicos en la Universidad de Pennsylvania, Filadelfia. Ha publicado las novelas (Ella) (2012), Esa muerte existe (2016) y los libros de cuentos Cromosoma Z (2007) y Antifaces (2015). Ha participado en diversas antologías tanto peruanas como latinoamericanas. Sus cuentos han sido traducidos al portugués, francés e inglés. En el 2016 fue elegida por la FIL-Guadalajara como uno de los viente escritores latinoamericanos más destacados nacidos durante los ochentas. Actualmente vive y enseña literatura en Illinois.

DANIEL SALDAÑA PARÍS (Ciudad de México, 1984) escribe narrativa y poesía. Es autor del libro de poemas La máquina autobiográfica (Bonobos Editores, 2012) y de la novela En medio de extrañas víctimas (Sexto Piso, 2013). Ha sido becario del FONCA en los programas Jóvenes Creadores (2006-2007) y Residencias Artísticas (2012), así como de la Fundación para las Letras Mexicanas (2007-2009). En 2012 antologó y prologó Doce en punto. Poesía chilena reciente y Un nuevo modo. Antología de narrativa mexicana actual, ambos publicados por la UNAM. En 2014 fue escritor en residencia en Ledig House-OMI International Arts Center (Nueva York). Fue elegido por el Hay Festival, el British Council y Conaculta como uno de los 20 escritores menores de 40 años para representar a México en la Feria del Libro de Londres en 2015.

Valeria Luiselli was born in Mexico City in 1983 and grew up in South Africa. Her novels and essays have been translated into many languages and her work has appeared in publications including the New York Times, Granta, and McSweeney’s. Some of her recent projects include a ballet libretto for the choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, performed by the New York City Ballet in Lincoln Center in 2010; a pedestrian sound installation for the Serpentine Gallery in London; and a novella in installments for workers in a juice factory in Mexico. She lives in New York City.

Considered to be one of the most prominent names among the new generation of Guatemalan writers, Rodrigo Fuentes (1984) won the Carátula Central American Short Story Prize (2014) as well as the Juegos Florales of Quetzaltenango Short Story Prize (2008). He is the co-founder and editor of the magazine Suelta and of the digital publishing house and literary journal Traviesa. Trout, Belly Up was shortlisted for the 2018 Premio Hispanoamericano de Cuento Gabriel García Márquez, the most prestigious prize awarded to short-story writers in Latin America. It has been published in Guatemala, Bolivia, Chile and Colombia, as well as in France. Rodrigo currently lectures at the College of the Holy Cross in the United States, and lives between Providence and Guatemala. This is his first book to appear in English.

Antônio Xerxenesky nasceu em 1984, em Porto Alegre, e radicou-se em São Paulo. Escritor e tradutor, é autor, dentre outros, dos romances "Uma tristeza infinita" (2021), "As perguntas" (2017) e "F" (2014, finalista do Prêmio São Paulo e primeira seleção do Prix Médicis Étranger). Sua obra foi traduzida para francês, italiano e espanhol. Xerxenesky foi escritor residente do International Writing Program, na Universidade de Iowa (Estados Unidos), em 2015, e da Fondation Jan Michalski, em Montricher (Suíça), em 2017.
