W Lawrence was born in San Francisco, California, and moved two dozen times before settling in Pennsylvania with his extraordinarily patient wife and two precocious daughters. He finally got his wish and balanced out the hormonal levels of his house by getting a boy dog. He worked for nearly twenty years as a professional interrogator in both the U.S. military and the world of corporate security before hanging up his hat. Lawrence is obsessed with zombie runs and comes home empty-handed from hunting turkeys. His love of reading runs colorfully from non-fiction books about pirates to vintage sci-fi to poetry. He has no problem reconciling that his two favorite shows are Downton Abbey and Breaking Bad.
